The ROCK-IT project held its fourth meeting on September 17-18, 2024, at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR). Over 50 team members gathered to discuss project milestones and engage in specialized breakout sessions. The meeting allowed fruitful discussions on the project's progress and future directions.

Poster sessions during the coffee breaks allowed participants to present their work from various conferences, including SRI2024NOBUGS 14, and ISSE Workshop 2024. These sessions enabled a platform for exchanging ideas and highlighting recent achievements.

The group also toured two significant HZDR facilities: the upcoming AMS facility HAMSTER which will benefit from ROCK-IT's contributions to remote access and data management; and the ELBE radiation source. These visits provided valuable insights into the facilities’ capabilities and future needs.

The ROCK-IT team extends its sincere thanks to the HZDR team for their successful organization of the event and looks forward to the next meeting at DESY in Hamburg, scheduled for Spring 2025.
